Brilliant writer, wonderful narration

I loved the Falco books especially those read by Christian Rodska but this is the first Lindsey Davis book that has had me sobbing. Understable really considering the subject and the great writing.

Jonathan Keeble's narration was excellent. He read the story believably without imposing his own personality on it which spoils a lot of good stories.

Interesting tale

For anyone who has read Linsday Davies' brilliant falco series it is bittersweet to hear familiar characters and cross referenced tangled up in this historic tradegy. The story is shorter than I'd hope but an interesting take on events, Ibsupose some extra colour around the characters and therefore the story comes from the Falco series too.
