Fantastic author, great book.

ADB really does justice to the entire feel of Warhammer. He is descriptive but not OVERLY descriptive to the point of tedium like some Black Library authors and conveys a sense of violence and blood in a way that would make Khorne smile. Overall a very good book that makes you unconsciously side with the Black Legion for once, I've already downloaded the next in the series!

Brilliant

By far the best performance reading of a book! Excellent diction, acting and sound quality of a story of which will make you a 40k fan if you are not already.

Redeeming the black legion

This audiobook series completely redeemed the black legion for me, from cartoonish and incompetent villains to a legion of warriors with motive, reason and character. The performances are of rich voices reminiscent of a certain Eliphas the Inheritor, the voices of demigods with aeons of experience.

Gripping narrative into 40K lore not normally told

It’s a great story told purely from the chaos marine’s perspective. It really builds the backstory and motivations of the chaos marines, making them less like pantomime villains.

Beautifully narrated, at times I found it hard to believe that there was only one person narrating as he slipped effortlessly between characters.

Keeble at his best as well as ADB👌

ADB and Keeble are goated. Amazing opening to a great story. Enjoyable characters and a good insight into some traitor legion thoughts.
