interesting concepts

I'll admit mj interest was sparked by a Michael Phelps reference to this book, so I decided to give it a go.

I found the concepts of sub conscious and control of self to be very interesting, but the author lost me when they brought religion and belief into the equation.

I do believe that you can manifest your own desires in your health, happiness and well-being. but to place 'faith' in your subconscious to deliver external variables is tenuous even without diluting the argument with references to God.

That said, there are elements that I appreciated and will attempt to utilise in my life.

Wonderful book

I just love this book as it has given me a different way of working with my subconscious mind and I've already found it to be really effective. Even got my son to listen to it and his language has completely changed to "I can do this" and "I am smart enough" etc. He also called the book insightful - which it is. Listening to it for a second time now and still getting new ah ha's. Highly recommended.

Just what I needed!

Loved it. Great narration. Easy to follow. Easy to do exercises. My best companion for this chaotic city I live in. Will keep listening to it during my daily two hour commute.

Powerfull and simple to apply

Techniques in this book are very simple to apply yet it is extremely powerfull..A reader should find many of Tony Robins teachings. Let your subconcious mind off the leash.

Excellent book but poor narration

What did you like most about The Power of Your Subconscious Mind?

The subject matter is very important. I learnt much from listening to this book. It is not so much psychology as positive thinking and awareness. Very practical advice.

What did you like best about this story?

Not really a story as it is not fiction but it explains much.

What aspect of Clay Lomakayu’s performance might you have changed?

I felt he spoke too slowly. I found his intonation too much like a southern states preacher. The book is not actually like that but I got the mental impression of him delivering sermons in church.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I found the book enlightening though I was annoyed at times by the narration

Any additional comments?

Excellent book if you are into understanding how your life is a reflection of what is going on in your unconscious mind. Change what is there and your life will change too.
