It’s not the reader’s fault, but there is no mention of the POV at the start of each chapter so you have to spend the first little while figuring the POV out for yourself. It too away from the flow of the story.

Predictable
It started off as being a story that was not going to be the same old same old. But alas, it became just that. The police here are not brilliant - just stumble from one crisis to the next. The plot "twist" was entirely predictable. I did not enjoy this.

Great Performance, believable characters and story
The story was great, nothing too unbelievable so it kept me engaged and interested. The narration by Simon Mattacks is fantastic, his range of accents is outstanding.....which really brought life to the narrated story.
