Another great thought provoking story.
Great concept. But the ending left me hanging...somehow the story needs to continue. The ending was a bit too abrupt and unfulfilling.

Pratchetts humor flows through
another great book that oozes pratchetts phenomenal writing style and humour. always enjoyable even if the actual characters are annoyingm great story!

Reminds me what we are go to miss
Pratchett's familiar sense of humour with a little more science behind it. His books always comment on some part of society and this one is no different. One of the main characters is a reincarnated Tibetan motorcycle mechanic reborn into a soft drink vending machine. The story makes you laugh while it makes you think, I can't download the rest of the series quick enough.

Loved it
Great narrator, who fit the slightly whimsical yet serious tone that Terry Pratchet brings to the story. Wonderful all round.

A rollicking story
A captivating tale with plenty of Pratchett whimsy, Baxter’s harder scifi, and a dash of Douglas Adams if I’m not mistaken. The premise haunts that given infinite earths mankind will spoil them all. I sympathise with the protagonist in wanting to get away from it all!

Fun roadtrip of the imagination, if a bit twee
This is overwhelmingly Baxter: wonderful imagination about evolutionary possibilities with cartoon characters. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem as though Pratchett got much of a look-in. At least, not that I could tell. The narration is mostly very good: the narrator tries valiantly but doesn't really succeed in pulling off umpteen accents. The American dialogue, in particular, suffers from intrusive and absent r's by turns. But this is a minor complaint, really. Overall, a great adventure story performed well.
