A feel good book

I love this book and read it at least once a year so it was great to find the talking version. The characters are fantastic and the story line is believable AND it has a happy ending. What more can you want from a book. 😊

A book to come back to

This lovely light story is so very different from Colleen McCullough’s other tales. Whenever I need a break from other heavier reading I return to the story of the Ladies of Missalonghi to clear my mind,

Would totally recommend this

I read this book years ago & absolutely loved it. It was my favourite for many many years & everyone I have recommended it to have thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s one that only gets better with rereading. The audible edition is also great. She’s done an excellent job.

Please fix the summary!

I enjoyed this story, although some of it was a bit far-fetched LOL. The publishers summary has been written by someone who has obviously not read or listened to the book. It's completely incorrect. I hope someone will fix it.
