Great performance- understood the wickedness

The rollicking and most popular of Wesley’s novels, this book is an ensemble of the interwoven characters’ lives centered around WWII. Wesley knows how to write comedically about people’s weaknesses and ridiculousnesses without diminishing the characters or her readers. We identify. She then throws in a lot of sex for good measure for a romp through the lives of a group of cousins and their connections.

Fabulous Narrator

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to Carole Boyd cleverly translate through many characters, accents, male and female. She was able to convey the humour, anxiety and frustration of the book perfectly.
