Brilliant narration of a brilliant novel

MacBride is an instant buy for me and THE BLOOD ROAD is another excellent entry in a series that seems unstoppable.

Clever and crackingly funny, THE BLOOD ROAD is wonderful audio entertainment. The narrator is perfect for the read and knows exactly how to lean in on the sarcasm and humour when it is needed.

P.S. I have picked up quite a few good new insults to hurl at my teenagers. Bonus!

Brilliant, as Usual!

Love Stuart McBride!
Love Logan and Roberta et al!
Love Steve Worsley!
If you are a fan of Stuart/Logan books, then The Blood Road will not disappoint. Steve Worsley brings an already suspenseful police procedural to wonderful, Scottish life.
Please hurry with the next Logan McRae book, Stuart. And please don't change your narrator. 👍👏

Another great Logan McRae book

It’s hard not to like this series of books, the flawed characters are easy to identity with, in fact it’s quite possible you know someone at work just like one of them. It goes deeper than just the characters and storyline though, the subject matter is at times hard going and tackles a number of emotive issues during the course of the book. The plot is complex and you’re always left wanting more, whenever you press pause.

All in all a great read!

Argh! Finished and I have to wait for the next one

Love this series! Perfect blend of mystery, comedy, and great characters. The narrator couldn't be better - sounds like it was written for him. Can't wait for the next in the series!

Together Again

If you are listening to this you have probably listened to the other Logan McRae books too - you’ll know what to expect and you’ll get it. But this is particularly fun because the whole gang are reunited (“whoot”) and as wonderfully funny as ever. The plot satisfies all the hints dropped in previous books. I’m only a little anxious that there may be a slight suggestion of finality in the getting together of our favourites into an ultimately well functioning unit but I am really hoping there will still be many many more stories with McRae, Steel, Rennie & Tufty et al. Please?

The blood road Stuart McBrides best yet

Gripping and excellent narration I - so good I didn’t want it to end. So many twists and turns. A story of tragedy and cruelty but as with most McBride books interspersed with wit and humor- totally believable. Can’t wait for the next Logan and Roberta outing - first class.
