Publisher's Summary

Teddy: If there's one thing I don't do, it's commitment. You don't become an award-winning photographer by staying in one place. I'm always on the road, looking for the next shot, the next award, the next hot body. Which is how I end up on Dr. James Marian's front porch in the middle-of-nowhere Alaska. He's known as the Wildlife Whisperer, and I want to photograph him in action. He's reluctant at first, but I can be persuasive.

Soon enough I have him in bed saying yes over and over and over again, but my ability to shoot and scoot is frozen by a Denali snowstorm.

Jamie: I always thought of myself as the marrying type. Until I got left at the altar. Now I have a new motto: never commit and never fall in love. So when a cocky nature photographer decides I'm the key to his next masterpiece, it seems like the perfect arrangement: the hotshot's only in town for a brief assignment and then he'll be gone. No commitment, no strings, and no chance of getting my heart broken again.

There's just one problem: I think I'm falling in love. Now I'm afraid that maybe I'm the marrying type after all. And he definitely is not.

A good addition to the series

While not my favourite narrator of which I'm in the minority, I found it ok to listen to though I find I need a break between books else all the characters start to sound the same.

I liked both the MC's and enjoyed the chemistry between them. it was hard seeing Jamie struggle with hiding his feelings from Teddy and there were a few moments where I wondered if they'd figure things out, which is crazy as I know the story will have a HEA so of course they will work things out, but it still made me tense as they were dealing with things.

I enjoyed Jamie's time with the animals and imagining the photos Teddy was taking, being a wildlife photographer would be a great job.

I loved meeting up with Blue and the family from book one and enjoyed their wedding. Hi down the track we get to experience Teddy and Jamie's wedding also.

Now onto book 3.

Tw food/body policing in first half of the book

Loved this, but please note TW for ppl with AOD and addiction concerns, and body shame issues throughout the story. There's a minor character that is judged very harshly for their food and lifestyle choices/addiction.

Outside the above the story is beautiful and the voice acting /narration is brilliant. I love the authors work, and adore this voice actor.

Lucy always delivers!

Taming Teddy is book two in the Made Marian series.

We briefly met Jamie in Borrowing Blue and got a glimpse into his life in Alaska.

Teddy is an award winning photographer hell bent on getting an opportunity to photograph Jamie in his element with wild animals.

Teddy and Jamie’s story has so much sweet and adorable. Not only with them together but the moments captured with the animals are all kinds of cute.

I really love how Lucy always delivers the low angst but a captivating small town vibe I can’t say no too.
