Loved it

I chose 5 stars because this book is excellent for anyone and everyone who wishes to achieve success in life and sees it as the only option. I have that mindset and Grant had that mindset when he was 20. The difference being he has decades of experience and proof to back it up. He integrates useful concepts with interesting stories and the way he translates the information is fantastic. Grant is engaging and more interesting than professional book narrators because he has emotional experience intertwined and that comes across in the book and the overall vibe. I will be certainly listening to this book again and Grant you have a new follower. I'll see you in a few years mate, but for now I'm going to devour your 10x rule book. Highly recommended to ambitious people interested in success strategies.

Excellent, minus the Scientology pushing

It's an excellent book that will inspire and give you worthwhile knowledge and he does his best to not go on his normal rants. but he pushes Scientology hard and at times underhanded.

he rants, he's hypocritical, he doesn't make logical arguments, he's hard to follow, he comes across as arrogant and if he tried to sell in this way to me, I'd show him the door

Solid material from beginning to end

Grant Cardone isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but the more I listen to him the more he becomes my brand of kool-aid. His content and performance throughout this title was consistently strong, right up to the last chapter. I recommend this book to anyone needing guidance, perspective, or a ‘pep’ talk about how to make it in the world of sales - whatever you’re selling.

Mostly hype, ra ra, and storytelling...

Mostly personal storytelling and lots of fluff. Some bashing of other writers, which i think is unjustified. Little science, and facts presented here. Would prefer something more concise and more scientific.

#1 book to read

No wonder why this is one of the best book / audiobook for all businesses! I listened to it once ( and will listen to it again ) already learnt a lot from this audio book. This had boost a lot of confidence for me. Love the stories and all the tips. Thanks Grant. 😀👏👍

Whole new perspective on sales

First Grant sold me on this book based off of the title alone, then he sold me on himself, then he sold me on his methods. I don't agree with everything he says in this book, but at its core he seems to be a master of his craft. I'm self employed and provide services, and generally rely on someone just choosing my service over my competitor's, knowing that I can and want to do better but not knowing how. I do get business, but I don't feel like I control it at all. I'm a bit of a people-pleaser who hates stepping on toes and will apologise and back off at the slightest pushback.
The practical methods and mindsets in this book can be confronting but are immensely helpful. It's not been hard to restructure how I do things to improve my sales tactics and I know that I'll continue proving over time with practice. Normally I'd never try to sell to someone I know, but following the steps in this book I was able to actually succeed in a sale within my pre-established network - pushing through the uncomfortable stage where I'd normally quit and managing to close it. I'd recommend this to anyone with unguided ambition, who has the spirit but needs more information to know what to do with it.
