Publisher's Summary

In Wyrd Sisters, the enchanting world of Discworld is turned upside down by 3 meddling witches: Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg, and Magrat Garlick. Their interference in royal politics causes kingdoms to wobble, crowns to topple, knives to flash, and citizens to shudder in fear. Terry Pratchett's vividly imaginative story takes you on a journey with hunchbacked monarchs, lost crowns, disguised heirs, refueling broomsticks, and frightening thunderstorms, as the three sisters battle the odds to restore the rightful king to the throne. This is the sixth book in the Discworld series.

this is not an original recording.

this is not the original recording. it is a recording of the original recording. the audio is muffled and occasionally halting. i have heard the original and i know the quality to be excellent. how has this inferior product been added to the books that can be purchased? how can i confidently buy any further books, Pratchett or otherwise?

A classical Weatherwax victory

Would you consider the audio edition of Wyrd Sisters to be better than the print version?

The audio version is more portable and makes for easier reading for a bus commuter.

Who might you have cast as narrator instead of Celia Imrie?

It is possible to be too politically correct, and this is not always in the best interests of the narrative. I would have preferred Nigel Planer or Stephen Briggs because the author is male, and I find hearing the narrative in a male voice more appropriate. The male voice also falls easier on the ear of over-sixty listeners.
