Continues to be a winner
This installment of the Bright Empires series continues to provide intriguing and believable concepts, and builds nicely upon the previous books in the series.
I can only really compare this book to other novels by Lawhead, as I find his particular blend of storytelling unique, as far as I've read.
Simon Bubb is easy to listen to, the accents are believable and his characterisation is not over the top. An excellent narrator.
The journey of a thousand worlds begins with one straight line.
Lawhead continues to provide intelligently written fantasy with a delightful hint of the old-school science fiction writers such as Jules Verne & H.G Wells.
