A Return To Scary Vampires!

So refreshing to hear a vampire story where they aren't sparkly, sexy, tormented immortals! Vampires are supposed to be scary and Thomas Emson remembered that. The characters are very real. I could have done without the political ranting about the Iraq war, but overall enjoyed the story and am looking forward to the next 2 books. Arthur Darvill (Rory from Doctor Who) does an excellent job narrating and I hope he will narrate the rest of the series.

The cover is really awesome

This book just didn't take off for me. I'll admit i have the attention spay of a five year old but it just never hooked me. Didn't finish it. I gave 2 stars for the benefit of the doubt.

Skarlett is more like Pink

I enjoyed this book when it first came out but the audio doesn't seem as good. It's not bad but it doesn't grab you or scare you, maybe with a different narrator it may have been better.
