Publisher's Summary

On the North Pole of Pluto there stands an enigma: a huge circle of standing blocks of ice, built on the pattern of Earth's Stonehenge - but 10 times the size, standing alone at the farthest reaches of the Solar System. What is it? Who came there to build it?

The secret lies, perhaps, in the chaotic decades of the Martian Revolution, in the lost memories of those who have lived for centuries.

Worth it in the end

As a big fan of sci fi this book was interesting enough just to have been written in 1984- Cold War times, and the hints at this throughout make for insight into those times.
The narrator does change through the book but because it’s in three distinct parts in different times by different characters, contrary to another recent review. It stands up against much of what has been written since despite the lack of computer tech back then giving clues to our futures . It gets slow in the middle but having finished it now I can say it was well worth it - and I’m not afraid to walk away from a bad book. Keeps you guessing that’s for sure

Interesting premise

A tale in 3 parts. Like the stories of Stonehenge in the UK, there are a number of theories about it but no real answers. This book left me a little frustrated with the different theories being presented by the author. I wouldn’t say that I disliked the book but it just didn’t ring my bell. A good book but not a great one in my opinion, 3 stars

OMG the most tedious book ever

Have loved other books by this author but this was just too much blah blah blah and not enough action. And they changed narrators for the same character half way through, which completely changed the nature of this character as the voices were so different in the way they emphasized different words.

Just longed for it to be over after the first hour!
