Publisher's Summary

Discover the real story Jesus came to announce.

Many people think the message of the Gospel is that if we believe in Jesus, we will be saved from hell and be transported to heaven after we die. But what if that is not what the Bible actually teaches? What if the good news Jesus came to announce is much bigger, much better, and includes much more than merely what happens after we die? Revered best-selling scholar N. T. Wright reveals what the gospel really is and how it can transform our todays just as much as our tomorrows.

Informative and easy to listen too.

Wright argues that the [Christian] good news is that "the one true God has now taken charge of the world, in and through Jesus and his death and resurrection."
I found the first three chapters the best.
It would be nice if audible could add names to the chapters in the app rather than just stating chap 1, chap 2... The chapters are:
1. What’s the News?
2. Foolish, Scandalous, or Good?
3. Surprised by King Jesus
4. Distorted and Competing Gospels
5. Rethinking Heaven
6. Wrong Future, Wrong Present
7. Surprised by God
8. Praying the Good News
8.Praying the Good
