Gives words to an underlying pre-existing belief.
If you suffer from religion in any form, don't read this book. If you believe that God can handle your questions and probings and wrestling, then this book is for you.

Thought provoking
Started listening to this book early one evening and later the next evening I had finished it. A lot of the ideas in it are ones I felt my mind had begun to ponder but never fully explored, for whatever reason, and definitely gave me a lot to think about.
Anyone who's going through deconstruction and reconstruction of their faith would get a lot out of this book.

Absolutely incredible
Just amazing. Really helpful for me having to un learn the hell of the hateful God that was forced upon me growing up. I then created my own hell for 15 years and totally self destructed. Now I find out after a life of heart ache I was never introduced to the real God! It's incredibly freeing and empowering. It makes complete sense to me and I feel blessed

This book saved my Christianity
Have listened to this book 3 times now and get something more from it each time!
I was a pastor in a big and thriving church, but my life wasn't big and thriving - it was tired and worn out - my marriage was flimsy and my young kids never saw me.
I realized something had to change but the culture I'd grown up in gave me a false impression that God would be mad if I didn't serve His kingdom.
After I resigned it gave me the courage to ask many questions I was too afraid to ask in the culture.
Those questions made the faith experience I'd had seem irrelevant and archaic.
But then I came across this book which reframed my limited and narrow view of the Bible, God and Jesus and all of a sudden they became "inclusive" again rather than "exclusive"
Isn't inclusiveness the very nature of the good news and God anyway?
If you read this book with the mindset that God is in all and through all it will blow your mind!
Highly recommend!

Beware
God is love yet love is not all God is. Carefully check his logic and arguments and you will realise the faults. All popular false things have parts that are true, which is the reason for their popularity. May we all have an alert heart and may God touch the author’s.
