Editorial reviews

Redeeming Zorus is an intoxicatingly erotic futuristic fantasy tale, cyborgs and humans are enemies who don’t play well with each other. Until Charlie meets Zorus, that is.

Charlie, a brave and brash and very sexy woman, is sent on a death-defying prison breaking mission to rescue Zorus, a brave and brash and very sexy cyborg. The highly unlikely pair don’t get along at all. But they find they complement each other extremely well in….other areas.

Narrated with steamy, sensual overtones by Mindy Kennedy, this sexy and titillating sci-fi story will surely keep you on the edge of your bed.

Publisher's Summary

Charlie's brother has put her in the no-win situation of having to rescue a cyborg from Earth Government. It's dangerous, she'll become an outlaw on Earth, but it's the only way to save her brother's life. The imprisoned cyborg is rude, conceited, and probably the biggest jerk she's ever had the misfortune to meet. His only redeeming qualities are his handsome face and sexy, muscular body. Just wow! Still, she can't wait to be rid of him

All cyborgs hate humans, but Zorus is consumed by it. Chained, enslaved, and facing death on Earth once again, he vows revenge. To his utter astonishment, a human female comes to his rescue. She's rude, mouthy, and bossy. And very brave. She baffles him almost as much as she arouses him. Zorus cannot deny that he’s fascinated by her. They are about to lock wills and ignite a firestorm of desire that defies every rule he lives by.

🖤

Loved it. I didn't think Zorus could be liked but by the end, I was convinced.

Misogynistic Plot Alert

I didn’t enjoy this story. There were a few almost-rapes from both humans and cyborgs. A thread ran throughout the plot that the heroine was either objectified or treated as a property by most people she encountered. There were also a number of instances/mentions of females offering Zorus sex in exchange for favours. Apparently he was quite happy to take advantage of that before he met Charlie. I’ve read three books in this series but strangely this is the first time I’ve noticed how misogynous this universe is.
