Publisher's Summary

Random House presents the audiobook edition of Persuader by Lee Child, read by Jeff Harding.

Never forgive, never forget. That's Jack Reacher's operating principle. And Quinn was one of the worst guys he ever had the misfortune to meet. He had done unforgivable things. So Reacher was glad to know Quinn was dead. Until the day he saw someone who looked an awful lot like him, alive and well, riding in a limousine outside Boston's Symphony Hall.

Never apologise. Never explain. When Reacher witnesses a brutal attempt to kidnap a terrified young student on a New England campus, he takes the law into his own hands. That's his way, after all. Only this time, it leads to a fatal shooting. Has Reacher - shockingly - lost his sense of right and wrong? Just because this time, it's personal?

Jack Amateur Reacher

Reacher makes so many stupid mistakes I almost started supporting the bad guys. There is some great parts Reacher at his neck snapping best however he let's his guard down so many times it was frustrating .

Story a bit slow and repetitive

I love lee child’s books but this one did not grip me or keep me interested. I listened to the whole book nevertheless as I am dedicated to lees childs books. I must say the ending was gripping.

Such a story teller!

Lee Child / Mr Grant must be comfortable by now - lucky for us he keeps writing!

Great read, hooked for hours at a time

Out the the 7 Reacher books I have read so far, this one is the favourite. After the first few chapters, you’re immediately plunged into thrill and suspense, and continues the whole way through. There are more links to Reacher’s army days which is a nice touch, and adds more emotional depth to the Reacher character. Can’t wait for the next one…

My Second Time

The first time I listened to this book was about 10 years ago. I was new to Jack Reacher but now I know him a lot better. The characters were interesting and the plot left me wanting more. I’m never disappointed when I listen to a Jack Reacher novel!

Fantastic impersonations by Harding

Possibly a little long but a gripping story nonetheless. Jeff Harding’s narration critical to its success.
