Waste of time and money

If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?

In order to achieve high performance in a clever way, you should get enough sleep, stay away from noisy urban areas and do some meditation or have walk, preferably in nature. Ah, and remember to have regular breaks.

If you've never ever heard of any of these tips, then this book is for you. Otherwise, just don't bother with this audiobook.

What will your next listen be?

Ancient Greek philosophers already had the body and mind balance figured out so I think I'll go for that.

What about Christopher Lane’s performance did you like?

Actually, the performance was the only reason I tried several times to continue with this audiobook. I really enjoyed his pace, tone of his voice and intonation. I really had an impression that he understands what he is reading. Hence the top note for the performance.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Peak Performance?

The whole book is just nonsense. Don't expect to learn anything from it. I mean, you really want to make money on giving advise like "Don't use drug stimulants, better turn to meditation"?

Captivating (Will return to this book) Great read

I really found this book interesting. It is definitely a golden book among the sea of self help books. I have hit quite a lot of duds over the last 2 years. But this one really stands out and makes you feel great. It covers the topics in the book in a very interesting manner. It is structured well and hits a lot of points in my opinion perfectly.

The last chapter is a summary of all the points covered over the entirely of the book. Incredibly helpful for those who don't take notes and just want a refresher as it includes a step by step plan. The book wasn't patronizing or clearly obvious, it presented the information in an interesting way. It also seemed to not waffle on, each chapter was well thought out and curated.

Overall, I would return to this book again to listen. The author and reader were quite captivating and lovely to listen/hear from.

Everything in this book is valuable

As someone who is becoming disillusioned with most things self-help, I was pleasantly blown away here. This book offers to the point, scientifically backed insight into getting the most out of yourself and contribute to society in a healthy way. Very good narration does the material justice. Totally worth a credit.

Great.

I really enjoyed this book as it seemed to pull together information taken from other audio books I have already listened to, such as Peak by Anders Ericsson, and gives you a great base plan to start on the journey to peak performance. Recommended.
