Publisher's Summary

Court Gentry, aka the Gray Man, is back – and once again on the run from old friends and foes.

Four years ago, Gentry was betrayed by his handlers in the CIA. Now, an old comrade, Russian arms merchant Sidorenko, returns to force him on a mission against his will: kill Sudan’s President Abboud, the supposed trigger for the Darfur genocide. But the CIA has its own plans for Abboud. With his ruthless employers on one side, his blackmailing former friends on the other, and a doomed mission ahead, Gentry would kill just to get out of this one alive.

Every bit as thrilling, informed, and addictive as The Gray Man, and once again skillfully narrated by Jay Snyder, On Target is sure to hit the mark for thriller fans.

Thorough suspenseful and enjoyable read.

Loved it as it builds the story of Court Gentry bit by bit into the legendary assassin. Again a masterful narration by Jay Snyder only adds to the enjoyable read.

Great story line

Mark Greany has a huge imagination plus a huge knowledge of warfare tactics and guns. Hes certainly done his research. I loved this book for its fast pace, seemingly impossible situations the Gray Man finds himself in and the sheer ruthlessness of the book's characters.
I couldn't wait to see what happened next.
An exciting book and though a little far fetched, nonetheless a truly wonderful, cant wait for the next chapter, read.

Frustration

When you get a book that has so many "that is stupid" moments. When the hero makes stupid dumb moronic choices you wonder at the plot. This was one of the most frustrating stories with repetitive dumb options. It was a real struggle to get through it.

ho hum noisy action ride.

okay. story just about endurance and superman efforts. another bang bang journey without any reality or personal connections. well read by narrator, like first novel, but author just goes from one unbelievable fight or dramatic situation to the next. even drama can get boring.

Way too much intricate detail

Storyline seemed to go nowhere much and ending unsatisfying though I still listened to the whole thing wondering what would happen next. Would be much better as a Readers Digest condensed book to cut down on so much unnecessary detail

Unimaginably lame

Terrible, lazy writing.

No plot, no character development and Greaney’s attempt at a female character is borderline offensive.

The grey man is no killer elite. Can’t believe in a character that’s discussed as mystically good but is actually dumber than a box of hammers.

Sadly after a great start with The Grey Man, I won’t be continuing with the series/author

Not for me

Ordinarily I like The Grey Man, but not this time. The extended combat scenes had me fast forwarding. This was a DNF for me.
