Publisher's Summary

The Tao of Seneca (volumes 1-3) is an introduction to Stoic philosophy through the words of Seneca. If you study Seneca, you'll be in good company. He was popular with the educated elite of the Greco-Roman Empire, but Thomas Jefferson also had Seneca on his bedside table. Thought leaders in Silicon Valley tout the benefits of Stoicism, and NFL management, coaches, and players alike - from teams such as the Patriots and Seahawks - have embraced it because the principles make them better competitors. Stoicism is a no-nonsense philosophical system designed to produce dramatic real-world effects. Think of it as an ideal operating system for thriving in high-stress environments. This is your guide.

Shocking

I was so looking forward to listening to these letters. I couldn't listen to the reading for more than 10 minutes. Narration was not up to par.

practical and useful

Very good and unique. Filled with practical, useful wisdom. Highly recomended.
However, a few of the letters were filled with a bit to much irrelevant writings is my opinion. perhaps it did serve well although by setting one up for the coming messanges.
in any case, definetly worth your time.
Thank you Tim!

Well below par.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The narrator, the delivery, the tone, the pace.

Would you be willing to try another book from Seneca presented by Tim Ferriss Audio? Why or why not?

I'm very surprised Tim let this go out with his well respected name on it.

Who might you have cast as narrator instead of John A. Robinson?

Alvin Chipmunk would have done a better job.

Do you think The Tao of Seneca needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

The whole thing needs redoing

Any additional comments?
