Publisher's Summary

From New York Times best-selling author and radio host Mark R. Levin comes a searing plea for a return to America's most sacred values.
In Rediscovering Americanism, Mark R. Levin revisits the founders' warnings about the perils of overreach by the federal government and concludes that the men who created our country would be outraged and disappointed to see where we've ended up.
Levin returns to the impassioned question he's explored in each of his best-selling books: How do we save our exceptional country? Because our values are in such a precarious state, he argues that a restoration to the essential truths on which our country was founded has never been more urgent. Understanding these principles, in Levin's words, can "serve as the antidote to tyrannical regimes and governments". Rediscovering Americanism is not an exercise in nostalgia but an appeal to his fellow citizens to reverse course.
This essential book brings Levin's celebrated, sophisticated analysis to the troubling question of America's future and reminds us what we must restore for the sake of our children and our children's children.

Such an awesome book, narration did not suit me.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

100%, and in fact I will recommend it to all my friends, but I will opt for the written version. Mark Levin is awesome, and the material in this latest book is so important for putting the American experience in better perspective for me.

What did you like best about this story?

The depth and detail regarding the history and evolution (sadly) of Progressive philosophy.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Great reader, but tempo was too fast and inflection too flat for me. I found myself missing transitions back and forth from source quotes and Mark himself.

Any additional comments?

Mark, keep up the good fight. Fantastic book, and I will be getting myself a hardbound edition.

Good info, terrible performance

Would you listen to Rediscovering Americanism again? Why?

I would not listen to it. The narrator was incredibly difficult to follow and listen to honestly.

What could Mark R. Levin have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Different narrator.

Would you be willing to try another one of Jeremy Lowell and Mark R. Levin ’s performances?

Mark Levin, yes. Jeremy Lowell, no.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Any additional comments?

Listen to the reviews!! I love listening to my audible books in the car and listen to political podcasts everyday... but this narrator was incredibly hard to listen to.
