The story of India

Another excellent history from Michael Wood. I've ready just about all of Wood's historical books and each one has proved highly entertaijing as well as more than just interesting.
Sam Dastor's reading of this history is excellent too. As an Indian born actor he has the brilliant ability to impart believable but subtley different character to the voices of people quoted in the book. This definitely improved the telling. He has a wonderful mellifluous dark voice. Great choice of reader
Thoroughly recommended
