Publisher's Summary

Collared and caged, his human slave awaits her training.

Zander, the alien warrior prince intent on recovering his planet, needs a mate. While he would never choose a human of his own accord, his physician's gene-matching program selected Lamira's DNA as the best possible match with his own. Now he must teach the beautiful slave to yield to his will, accept his discipline and learn to serve him as her one true master.

Lamira has hidden her claircognizance from the Ocretions, as aberrant traits in human slaves are punished by death. When she's bought by a Zandian prince for breeding and kept by his side at all times, she finds it increasingly harder to hide. His humiliating punishments and dominance awake a powerful lust in her, which he tracks with a monitoring device on her arousal rate. But when she begins to care for the huge, demanding alien, she must choose between preserving her own life and revealing her secret to save his.

Devour the first steamy stand-alone romance in USA Today best-selling author Renee Rose's Zandian Mates series.

Publisher's Notes: This book was originally included in the box set Human Surrender. It is a dark romance with elements of graphic sex, spanking, and BDSM. If such subject offend you, please do not buy this book!

A thought provoking deliemma

After listening to the Audible rendition of this book, I came to the conclusion that no matter where humans travel, love seems to follow.
However, this book starts with two beings not wanting a relatipnship, especially of the intimate kind. The alien prince is almost commanded to procreate with another species, to keep his species alive, although one couple is hard to envisage keeping a whole species from extinction. Anyways, the targeted female, sourced ny a computer compatibility program, is a human, enslaved, by another species of aliens.
After securing the female, the task is to learn how a human female reproduce, and their indicators for sexual arousal. Plus, off course, how to discipline and "house train" the young woman.
I found this book fascinating in the approach of how another species learn about the sexual proclivities of the human species.
Yes an enjoyable and somewhat different romance.
