Poorly written with no valuable information

Taking 4 chapters to discuss the historical context of marriage, the book then begins listening reasons why things like alcohol and drug abuse, cheating and violence might be bad for your marriage. At no point in the 10 out of 24 chapters I listened to did the book even begin to give any kind of useful or valuable insight or information regarding improving marriage. At most it provided throwaway lines like "try something new, this will be fun".

To add insult this book clearly didn't have the luxury of an editor, the writing style is that of a highschool student with little flow and plenty of word duplication. It's the kind of style that seems better suited to a blog post on a low end site than an actual book.

I can not on any level recommend this book, it utterly lacks insight into marriage on a personal level and does not provide anything that could be used to assist in improvement.
