Publisher's Summary

In New York Times best-selling author Cindy Gerard's fiery new romantic suspense series, when danger threatens, the seductive heroes of Black Ops, Inc. turn up the heat.

An indecent proposal...

When a high roller at the Vegas casino where Crystal Debrowski manages security makes a scandalous proposition, she flat-out refuses, especially given rumors of his shady overseas connections. But then counterfeit bills mysteriously flood the gaming tables, and her reputation - and her life - are on the line.

Reveals a simmering desire...

Despite his big, flirty grin, Texas heartbreaker Johnny Duane Reed can't get sassy Crystal off his mind. When she is abducted by an international crime lord with a threatening obsession, Reed enlists his Black Ops, Inc. team to pursue a dangerous mission to rescue her.

...With deadly consequences.

Between Crystal and Johnny burns a scorching flame, but as they battle her relentless abductor, they uncover a malicious arms trafficking and white slavery ring. Together, they must destroy the tyrant's wicked enterprises or face his reign of terror themselves.

just loving Cindy Gerards no nonsense Black Ops

I veered away from listening to this in place of kris Michaels and devoured her guardian / defender series but have decided to come back to Cindy as I really enjoy all her characters that she has written. I haven't read all of The Bodyguard series yet but I'm thinking it won't matter too much if i jump ahead to Black Ops as I will grow accustomed to the names and where they are now once I go back to it.
Cindy does a great job of getting all the intricate Black Ops materials together for example the different types of weapons and the way that the men have to go about setting things up and it is really quite suspenseful.
I really enjoy the romance in between it all and I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of the guys go down to their strong women. I do like JF Harding as a narrator however I do believe Douglas did a very good job with this narration as well so the next one I believe is Shannon Gunn we'll see how he goes.
it was interesting to have this take place in the Indonesia and not like most Ops centered in the Middle East. Indonesia does seem to be a place where it can become the hub for all the undercover type of transaction that can take place in a fictional book. using the Indonesian language here in there was the clever idea and gave it some Credence.
tink with sassy and I think will make a good addition to b o i looking forward to the next one
