Publisher's Summary

Welcome to Nocturne Falls, the town that celebrates Halloween 365 days a year.

The tourists think it's all a show: the vampires, the werewolves, the witches, the occasional gargoyle flying through the sky. But the supernaturals populating the town know better.

Living in Nocturne Falls means being yourself. Fangs, fur, and all.

After seeing her maybe-mobster boss murder a guy, Delaney James assumes a new identity and pretends to be a mail order bride. She finds her groom-to-be living in a town that celebrates Halloween every day. Weird. But not as weird as what she doesn't know. Her groom-to-be is a 400-year-old vampire.

Hugh Ellingham has only agreed to the arranged setup to make his overbearing grandmother happy. In 30 days, whatever bridezilla shows up at his door will be escorted right back out. His past means love is no longer an option. Not if the woman's going to have a future. Except he never counted on Delaney and falling in love for real.

Too bad both of them are keeping some mighty big secrets....

should have a trigger warning, miscarriage infant

I was enjoying the book up until chapter 25 when suddenly they are talking about miscarriage and still birth. It came from nowhere and I can not finish the book. I am so disappointed that I wasted my money on this. You can't just drop that into a book with no warning. It may not have negative effect on most but i find it painful to read about.

Light and silly

Looking for deep and meaningful plot? Look else where.
While the concept of this plot has the potential to be a complex and gritty epic of a story, this certainly is not. I'd say it's a sugar glazed version of a paranormal romance with orange and purple sprinkles. Thing is, I like copious amounts of sugar from time to time. 😋🧁🍨🍪
I was apprehensive about having a male narrator with a romance novel, this is my first, but only because my internal voice is as female as I am. He was extremely good and I'm definitely going to go looking for more things read by him regardless of genre.

Move Over Twilight

If you like the Vampire romance category and loved twilight you're likely going to love these books too, throw in a bit of werewolf, a crime family from NYC and a cosy little town and you have a great read.

Fascinating

This is a new take of vampire/werewolves/human and other supernatural stories. It's mesmerising, addictive and thrilling and witty that equaled to a great story. The narrative is excellent and pulls you and immersed you in the life of the characters and feels their emotions. Thank you Kristen and B. J for an amazing book. I would have want more realistic intimate scenes (we are all adult after all) xx
