Publisher's Summary

Casey Alexander grew up part of the Ravage Motorcycle Club family since the day she was abandoned by her mother and thrown into her father's lap. Always seeing herself as an outsider, she spent her whole life trying to fit in but never really succeeding. When she loses her beloved father, the utter aloneness engulfs her, leaving her searching for solace in the one man she's always craved.
Gage Thomas (G. T.) Gavelson fell in love with his Angel when he was just a pint-sized kid. Both beautiful and smart, he always felt that she deserved so much better than him. Growing up beside her in the club only continued to test his will power, until one night he gave into temptation. Realizing that he couldn't allow himself to hold her back from the life she deserved, he pushed her away.
When a tragic shootout occurs, everything changes as once again Casey and G. T.'s lives are intermingled. When you find your way back to the one person you are meant to be with, forgiveness should be easy. But sometimes, we hurt each other too much to ever be able to forgive. Is their love strong enough to heal their pain?

okay

it was great in the beginning but felt bored towards the end of the book. mainly because I felt the Narrator for GTs character speed read through it. I felt that I had to go back a few times to catch what was said.

Great from start to finish

Characters were great. Both H and H were strong, loving and equally likeable. Story was great from beginning to end. Grabbed your interest from page one. One of the best MC stories I've read in a while. Hate to say, but some of the MC stories lately have just been bad. This one is a keeper, and one I'll listen to over and over.

Ridiculously weak Heroine

I really disliked this book. I spent the majority of the book thinking, “Seriously?, this chick has got to be the most ridiculous, emotionally weak woman ever invented by an author.” It was so over the top that I was barley able to finish the book.
Spoiler Alert........now, let me start by saying, I’m a very sensitive, empathetic person. Actually, I am probably too sensitive and empathetic but, I wanted to smack this Heroine upside her head. First of all, this character has been raised by a single Dad in a 1% biker club. She has, in no way lived a sheltered life. Guns, violence and public sex are parts of her every day life. Her father was shot and killed in a war with a rival club. Her Mom was a club whore who dumped her off with her Dad, right after she was born. This same woman participated in the abduction, torture and rape of a male character, in the last book. BUT....in this book, she gets pregnant, unplanned, and runs away without telling the father or anyone else about the pregnancy. She then has a miscarriage at 13 weeks and goes into a deep depression. Now, at 13 weeks, you’re not showing or feeling the baby or anything. Miscarriage is very common this early. Now, I can understand being sad but giving the piece of tissue a full name and placing having a funeral and placing a tombstone in a cemetery for it? Come on, that’s stupid. Hell, even months later she has to have therapy to go on with her life. This is just one example of some of ridiculous, over dramatic crap in this book. I really wish I had the time back that I wasted listening to this book. I can’t remember ever leaving such a negative review before and hope I never have the desire to do so again.

Disappointing

I liked the first book in this series with Princess as the main character - and I really enjoyed the first section of this book. However, over time, Angel really grated on me. She was such a victim and the plot became very far fetched with her being kidnapped or another sig event literally every other page! She came across as a very weak and needy character that annoyed me intensely. Seems as though the author might have had to complete second part in record time or something! Quality simply not the same as first half. Bored by end. Joanna Wylde REAPER books far more enjoyable.
