More danger with a dash of humour from DCI Daley

A series of short stories featuring DCI Daley and his friend DS Scott. Some are set in present day Kinloch, and some in Glasgow when Daley and Scott were young officers. All make for a great read. Entertaining, compelling, and DS Scott as funny as ever. Wonderful!

Excellent Book

Terrific collection of DCI Daley stories, very well performed. Well worth a listen. Denzil performs the accents beautifully.

Excellent and unexpected…

I had my doubts before I started this ‘book’ having listened to this series back to back with this being the last at time of release. I was hoping it wasn’t just a brief summary or excerpts from the previous books… it isn’t!
I thoroughly enjoyed hearing these smaller stories that definitely did not lack substance or entertainment value for the reader. I strongly encourage fans of Daley and Scott to continue to enjoy them with these new episodes!

My favourite books and the best storyteller!

My favourite books and David Monteith is the best to do them justice. I do hope there will be more to the series.

Absolutely love this series

Nearly all the short stories included in this one, so well worth grabbing to fill in Jim and Brian's early years in Glasgow.

Great plots, full of dry Scotish humour, provided courtesy of Hamish and Brian with a sprinkle of nostalgia thrown in. All delivered by the excellent narration of David Monteath.

Too sexist

Good story lines and wonderful narration but there is just too much misogyny, casual sexism, and objectification for me to continue to listen.

A good listen

Great stories revolving around one officer, good listen and I liked the voice overs. Worth a listen
