Story
Silas Marsh is set to inherit the family fortune, but his father is determined his heir be the “perfect” son. Before Silas can take over the company and end its shady business practices, he must prove himself worthy...and deny his true nature. Silas must choose: stand up to his father by being true to himself and his undeniable feelings for Max or pretend to be someone he is not in order to inherit everything. Even if it means sacrificing a chance at happiness and real love.

Story
Football star. Single dad. And once, a long time ago, mine. I’ve spent the better part of a decade forgetting Ford Ellis. If he had just stayed away from Montana, I might have erased the memory of his striking blue eyes and rugged smile forever. Avoiding him was easy when the only place I saw his face was on ESPN—and a remote control could fix that problem.

Story
In one second, my life disappeared. My past. My memories. My future. The only certainty I have from the last three years is that my older brother is dead and that I am the only eyewitness. In order to protect the case, the lawyers demand no one give me any information about my life...I must remember on my own. My only help comes from my brother’s best friend and world-renowned investigative reporter Spencer Cross. He has no idea how many nights I’ve spent dreaming of his name—and his body—next to mine. Each day we spend together, I find it harder to want my old life back.

Publisher's Summary
Kacey Dawson has always lived life on the edge - impulsively, sometimes recklessly. And now, as lead guitarist for a hot up-and-coming band, she is poised at the brink of fame and fortune. But she is torn between wanting to be a serious musician and the demons that lure her down the glittering but alcohol-soaked path of rock stardom. A wrecked concert in Las Vegas threatens to ruin her career entirely. She wakes up with the hangover from hell and no memory of the night before or how she ended up on her limo driver's couch....
Jonah Fletcher is running out of time. He knows his situation is hopeless, and he's vowed to make the most of the handful of months he has left to him. His plans include seeing the opening of his glass installation at a prestigious art gallery...they do not include falling in love with a wild, tempestuous rock musician who wound up passed out on his couch. Jonah sees that Kacey is on a path to self-destruction. He lets her crash with him for a few days to dry out and get her head on straight. But neither of them expects the deep connection they feel or how that connection can grow so fast from friendship into something more.

A journey
Well, Emma, what can I say you’re tore my emotions apart. The characters and their relationships were impeccably stated in your words. It was the most true to life story I have ever read. I thank you for giving me hope when I felt sadness from a similar situation, you put in words, another perspective, another way to accept, for that I thank you

This story broke me
Casey and Theo's story broke me, I am so glad I stuck with this book even through the hard parts that left me sobbing. It is going to take me a long time to get over the ending of this book.
The narrators did a brilliant job expressing all the emotions the characters dealt with in this heartbreaking story.
