Story
When a beautiful blonde girl is found half-drowned on a beach, she has no memory of who she is or what horrors have left her there. But an article about her in a Brighton newspaper rings alarm bells for beautician Dale, who shows the police photographs of Lotte Wainright. The girls met working on a cruise ship, and their friendship blossomed as they sailed the seas of South America, until Lotte fell under the sinister influence of an older American couple.

Finished too soon
I liked the book however it seemed like it finished too soon. What happened with her sister? Did she and Phil buy a house?
Did Ben finish his studies? Was Andrew ever convicted? I may have missed something but I feel a little ripped off!
It’s like going to Bunnings to get your COVID jab and then not getting a sausage.

Like watching a movie
Loved this book. I'm not a fictional reader much but this book was great right from the first paragraph. Descriptive enough but not over the top, so it pictured the locations and characters perfectly. The story was written so well and I couldn't wait to listen to more every day....sad it ended. The narration was perfect with all the various accents. Loved it 😁
