Disappointing

Would you try another book written by Harper Bliss or narrated by Angela Dawe?

Yes

What was most disappointing about Harper Bliss’s story?

Weak and uninteresting.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Irritating and unbelievable.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment & boredom

Any additional comments?

I found book 2 of the Pink Bean Series disappointing and boring. I will be returning it. The story line is no where near as engaging as book 1. The narration drives me mad and I have only gotten one or two chapters into it.

Overall good book!

Another great book by Harper Bliss. I really enjoy the emotion she brings to her books!! The characters were interesting and experienced some very real challenges. It was tough getting thru them but that's what a good book will do for you. I almost got frustrated with one of the characters but before I could really get mad, it ended, which was probably for the better! Also, the narrator had a great voice...I could listen to her all day!! Overall, excellent listen! I look forward to the next book!

Well written. Substance abuse flash backs

Enjoyed the story. Spoiler****It brought up old memories of my wife struggling with alcoholism ( she has been sober now and we are expecting!). It was nice to see how her partner choose the relationship when faced with an ultimatum and showed her support in the end. A lot of self discovery on both main characters and felt the realism in the characters development.

Average prequel to No Strings Attached

The story starts well and the two main characters get together very early on. Then... that's more or less about it. 50% of the book could have been left out. The style of setting is as good as ever, but the whole book is let down by a story lacking interest. I feel slightly cheated. Readers/listeners hoping for a romance like No Strings Attached may want to look somewhere else because this is more of a life angst story, something out of a TV soap than a romance novel.
