Shallow characters but interesting story
For a light read, this was pretty good. The characters weren't well developed however the twists and turns of the story will be enough to get you through the book. The performances were excellent.

Loved it
Really engaging story & well told from two perspectives. Only one little detail at the end bothered me & struck me as illogical but I can’t say what it was as it would be a spoiler! See if you can spot it!

Kept me guessing
It wasn't at all what I expected & I was totally hooked. It was equally a thriller & a drama, a story in the end of lifelong neglect & abuse.

Kept me guessing!
Another great listen from these two narrators who brought this story to life on so many captivating levels. I’m not sure which narrator played Nina, one of the protagonists, but her voice could melt chocolate. An enthralling listen!

Thrilling, titillating, albeit predictable

Will keep you listening but no literary genius.
Well read and enjoyed the accents (except the Italian one at the end). Just not the best written book. Kept me occupied while moving house however so shouldn't complain. Plenty of action.
