Publisher's Summary

When a museum executive secretary, who barely tolerates men, has a run in with an infamous BDSM Master, Neil Cannon, a man who lives to discipline women, there's little she can do about it. Why?
The Master thinks Charlotte, a.k.a Charlie, is her kink-loving, totally outrageous, and continually stirring-up-trouble twin sister. And after what Charlie just did, he has to keep thinking that. At least until she can find a way to climb out of the huge mess her well-meaning intentions have landed her in. She'll take the punishments the Master intends for her twin. She'll even put up with him and his misogynistic antics if it means she'll be able to unlock the secrets that will save her family. All she has to do is behave like her sister. How hard could it be to emulate a fearless, over-confident, rebellious woman, with highly questionable sexual standards?
Neil's been waiting months for the chance to deal with this audacious sub who's been jacking up the testosterone levels of his vanilla crew whenever her sports car needed maintenance. That's why he made the service call himself. He's confident she won't be yanking his chain, because if she tries he's prepared to yank it right back.
Or so he thought until she turns out to be different than what he expected her to be. She starts pushing buttons he didn't know he had. She's flipping internal switches, lighting things up, creating a whole new level of dominant need he's determined to explore, enjoy, and satisfy.
Unfortunately, before either of them can get a handle on the D/s chemistry exploding between them, she takes off. It's then he discovers that she's invited a part of his past, that he's promised to steer clear of, right to his front door.

Great Narration just one clicked the next one

Would you consider the audio edition of Provoked to be better than the print version?

I bought both kindle and audible versions of this so that I could swap between the two but I have to admit that the narration of this made it much better for me. They nailed it.

If you’ve listened to books by Riley Murphy before, how does this one compare?

N/A

What does Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

I loved the combined narration rather than a dual pov. It was like listening to it unfold live rather than a fictional story. This pair obviously work well together their voices match quite well just the right amount of emotion and characterisation without going OTT the way some narrators do. I was really impressed.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

From Sir with love.

Any additional comments?

While I really enjoyed this book and have already purchased the follow on from time to time I found myself thinking that I must have missed something because it did appear to jump around a little giving just a teaser then quickly changing scene or subject only to come back to it briefly later on. I realise that with more books in the series you can't give away all of the secrets but there were some things that I felt were still too unresolved for instance with the twins. I'm hoping the next book sheds more light on this.

One HOT narration, give me more please!!

Q- Would you consider the audio edition of Provoked to be better than the print version?
A- As I haven't read the print version of this book I can't honestly answer this... but I will say that Kai & Wen added something to this narration that I'd never heard before.

Q- What did you like best about this story?
A- The steamy scenes.... they were made EXTRA steamy whilst listening to Kai & Wen... if it wasn't Winter here I would have needed to put out a forest fire!!

Q- Which character – as performed by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross – was your favorite?
A- I would have to say I FLOVED Neil & Charlie the most.... how could I not??

Q- Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
A- There were a few scenes that moved me... the pool scene, the ocean scene.... actually most of the book did!

Q- Any additional comments?
A- There was just something about the joint narration that kept me glued to my earphones (this wasn't something I could listen to with kids around) even when my ears got a bit sore, I kept listening... Kai & Wen made listening to 'Provoked' HOT, steamy, addictive & I WANT more!!
