Publisher's Summary

Do the impossible, or lose your family forever....

Edgar Hill, unsympathetic husband and halfhearted father, finds himself in a hopeless situation. Despite all his best efforts, he hasn't managed to keep his family together. In fact they are further from him than ever - 550 miles, to be precise.

And in a world near annihilated by a terrible disaster, leaving the UK harsh and brutal, uncrossable by car or bike, his journey to find his loved ones will be fraught with challenges.

His best option is to run. But what if your best isn't good enough?

Includes original music by Adrian J. Walker.

The EotWRC parallels with life

I love the way Adrian Walker writes - so easy to visualise and put myself into the story. I loved the character development and understanding their histories and travelling with them on their journey of growth; hence the life parallel.

The narration suited the story and handled the different character voices well.

I didn’t want the story to end, however luckily for me there’s another book to follow!

If you’re not an Apocalypse genre fan, give this a shot anyways, you won’t be disappointed.

What great characters this guy writes. The main character is everything a lazy father and rubbish husband should be and he takes forever to wake up to himself. Loved the Harvey character too. Typical Aussie bloke and acts just the way I’d expect.

The narrator does a brilliant job too, from Aussie accent to whining child. Loved him!
