Darn, darn, darn. I am a long time fan of Tami Hoag suspense novels, especially the Kovac and Linska series. Two books back I ended up disappointed with her last Kovac and Linska novel that was also a problem novel about bullying. This one is about sex abuse and consequences. It's not bad, it's just kind of mediocre. The spark that made her earlier books must reads is no longer there, at least for me.
The narrator wasn't particularly interesting either. He's done better in the past, although he is not one of favorites.
I'm very disappointed.

This story feels rushed, and the coincidences are way to far fetched. Trying to tie Liska and Kovach together like this didn't work for me. I like the new partner. Maybe he needs his own series of books?

I was gripped by the story, the first Tami Hoag
I have read. But why does the male reader make all women sound like childish breathy hookers
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The plot was well plan and kept you waiting until the very end to see 'who dunnit'.
