A fantastically written and read adventure

I lost so much sleep listening to just another hour each night with this amazing take on magic and mystery. The characters were believable and well fleshed out and I really wanted to go and have tea with quite a few of them! Looking forward to more.

Fantastic descriptions

I loved the descriptions in this audiobook, I found that I was taken on a journey into days gone by. It was easy to imagine the scenery and have my mind taken into this story.

Suspense and Mystery

A nice stand alone story that doesn't necessarily leave you eager to read the rest of the series. Definitely, worth a listen.

3.5 Stars

Ok, we get it. She's a vegan. I enjoyed the recipe descriptions (they sound delicious!) but the author REALLY wants you to know it's vegan. Got a tad old after awhile.
The story was not exactly fast paced, just hummed along. Enjoyable and the gargoyle was fun! The villain wasn't very exciting, definitely didn't come across as very villainous. Just a tad beige.
The narrator is fantastic, absolutely super voice.

An Enthralling And Captivating Story

The Accidental Alchemist was a book that I found when scrolling through the included books in my membership, the title caught my attention not knowing how someone could become an alchemist by accident. The captivating emotions and tragedy's that Zoe Faust has experienced left me wanting to know more about her and how she will handle the dangers the future will present her with. I have toughly loved this book and do recommend to those with a love for mysteries and magic. I couldn't stop listening once I had started.

Alchemical Concoction

Nice story with excellent narration! Oved the French Gargoyle, however, did not like the 'teen' character!

I want my own French Gargoyle Chef de Cuisine!

Thoroughly enjoyed the story line and the characters. Dorian, the French Chef de Cuisine Gargoyle captures the imagination and the book had me researching the Shanghai Tunnels under Portland...creepy stuff.

5 stars...on to next book.
