Best book in series so far
I’ve listened to all books in series so far. This is my favourite one yet. The story has a consistent pace and a wider emotional range than the previous books. The story overall is just more compelling.
The narrator does a good job except for her habit of inconsistent volume level when doing male voices. It makes the audio book harder to hear with headphones unless in a really quiet environment. Male narrators don’t tend to have that issue. I’m surprised the audio book producers didn’t pick up the volume difference with her male and female voices. An audio book is designed to be listened to on the go when outside. This narrator isn’t great for that.

I loved this story it is one of redemption in true love against all odds and I highly recommend it, it took me through a gambit of emotions and I had trouble stopping listening because I wanted to know what was next.
