a fairly average life story

This was unlike Seddon's other books. Not much happened, and it basically told the life story of a fairly ordinary person. the characters weren't even that likeable. If you're after a thriller, this is not what you're looking for.

BORING!

I try to give good reviews but had to be really honest. I painstakingly listened... hoping for SOMETHING to happen... the whole story was basically about normal people leading a normal life. The “secret & lie” were certainly nothing to write home about. Definitely not in the same category as “Try Not to Breathe” which I gave 5 stars. It was great for insomnia though.

Sorry but this book doesn't offer much at all. I was quite disappointed. It's nothing like her other books and the narrator is ...well I put it on at night to put me to sleep.
