Surprise ending

Not a bad storyline although I felt I’d dragged on a little at times.
Didn’t see the ending coming which was good and held my attention.

Average

This book was slow, too descriptive with no depth to the characters. The main character was delusional, which could have been interesting, but was not utilised at all. The ending was ridiculous.

Not quite rounded enough

I found that the characters did not seem real enough in their roles, somehow. They seem to lack depth; at times inconsistant. I feel that perhaps a bit of tweaking would have
really made it shine.

Appalling

So glad I didn't waste a credit on this nonsense. So badly written with an atrocious amount of padding. The protagonist is thoroughly irksome, making ridiculous decisions in order to drive what could loosely be described as the plot.
There is one character who is treated dreadfully, for very little reason, degrading people with learning disabilities or similar.
Another character ends up OK, even through they were thoroughly obnoxious and behaved unethically and unlawfully.. it all just seems to be forgotten.
I fast-tracked through a few hours and it was very, very easy to work out what had happened in the interim.
This would be the most scathing review I've written. I'm astounded at the good ones.
