Publisher's Summary

In the fourth novel in the New York Times best-selling Fixer-Upper Mystery series, contractor Shannon Hammer must restore the Christmas spirit by clearing her father's name....

Even during the holidays, Shannon is more spackle than sparkle, which is why she leaps at the chance to transform a grand old Victorian mansion into 10 charming apartments for homeless families. Filled with the spirit of the season, all of Lighthouse Cove turns out to help - including her best friends, a troupe of far-from-angelic Santa Claus impersonators, and her father, Jack.

But their merriment is soon dashed by a heated scuffle between Jack and the miserly president of the bank who's backing the project. When the man is murdered, all eyes are on Jack, and visions of prison time dance in Shannon's head. Now she needs to pull off a crime-solving miracle before her father's Christmas goose is cooked....

Don't miss Framed for Murder, a Hallmark Movies & Mystery Original starring Jewel, based on the Fixer-Upper Mystery series!

unrealistic

This book in the series was a stinker. I was incredulous the whole way and only kept listening because I've enjoyed the previous books. It was so disjointed that a few times I thought the book had skipped because it made no sense.
Rediculous premis, story line non existent and FAR TOO MUCH going on.
Ending of book laughable. I was expecting one more chapter where the main character could "save the Dolphins, end World Poverty and stop all Wars and then think of a nifty way to fix Global Warming". (The main character would be able to do all this while...coordinating a 8mth renovation in only 2 weeks, solving her love life problems, solving a murder, working with social services to rehome an abandoned baby, planning/co-coordinating the MONTHLY town Parade shes in charge of; AND run her weekly handman courses for underprivileged kids AND having a skermish with her evil nemesis)

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
