Good story but unpleasant to listen to

I have mixed feelings about this one The book itself was ok, I liked the story, but it got completely ruined by the people who narrated the book The guy’s character was ok, not great but I gave him a chance But the girl! Omg What was with the accent?! I had to force myself to finish the book I pretty much suffered through it till the end, I just wanted to read a hard copy
Also, It a bit annoyed me how they just met and were professing undying love to each other like 3 days later The same thing annoyed me in Burned Just take it easy people! (I meant the main characters)
