Publisher's Summary

From Stephen R. Covey's eldest son comes a revolutionary new path towards productivity and satisfaction. Trust, says Stephen M.R. Covey, is the very basis of the new global economy, and he shows how trust - and the speed at which it is established with clients, employees and constituents - is the essential ingredient for any high - performance, successful organization.

For business leaders and public figures in any arena, The Speed of Trust offers an unprecedented and eminently practical look at exactly how trust functions in our every transaction and relationship - from the most personal to the broadest, most indirect interaction - and how to establish trust immediately so that you and your organization can forego the time - killing, bureaucratic check - and - balance processes so often deployed in lieu of actual trust.

The best Covey title

The Speed of Trust has been carefully researched and for once you can read a book that you can feel the situations apply to your. Not just relating to a multi-million dollar situation.

Great book

What a fantastic book. It really cemented a lot of years. I have around how I approach my life, but also how I approach my work, my work colleagues, and my wife and son. Through and through a great book and I would highly recommend everybody to listen to this.

decent yet unlistenable content

Unlistenably dull and bland narration with a pace comparable to a bad late night show host's Donald Trump impersonation. I mean no disrespect to them, just a very poor choice of narrators across the board. Read the book instead.

Sound ideas, however unnecessary long.

Sound ideas, however 90% of the value of this book exists within the first 150 words.

The story telling aren’t convincing

I like the contenta that covers a lot of knowledge
The storytelling is not attractive, most of them were read as facts and no details of the reasoning given. they are dry and boring.

Dislike the female voice which appears cold , machine alike and brutal in the middle of main book .

I liked the twist he gave to his fathers work.

First half of the book felt repetitive but the book became more engaging as the chapters moved along. I felt the last few chapters carried the major value of the book.

a very long way of talking about trust

too many rules and not my favorite voice of narrator - this could have been summarized in three chapters and focus could be content in smaller number of "rules".

meh

did not finish. author relies heavily on his father's success and approaches theories with heavy idealism.
