Started off well and then...

Big Koontz fan but was disappointed with this book. First half or so I loved it - and then it kinda went downhill. Found the ending to be really stupid and disappointing.

Interesting but too long

Dean Koontz is a brilliant writer who has a tremendous way with big words. But they can be distracting and his overly verbose style sometimes detract from the story. Ashley Bell is a good story with an interesting twist, which is germane to Koontz's books, but it is simply too drawn out and gets lost in the verbiage. I give it 3.5 stars but rounded up simply because I like Dean Koontz in general. Also the narrator is top notch!

WOW!

Loved getting to know characters with depth and warmth.
Only Mr. Koontz can do this.
Was cheering for BB from page 1.
The character of the Captain is hauntingly captivating.
And as usual, you get to the end of a Dean Koontz novel, and you think.......what if?
Loved it!!!

Love Koontz but returned this one

I just couldn't get past the female narrator's voice - getting sick of PC creeping into every aspect of my life
