Story
Well hello to you dear audiobook browser. Now I have your attention it would be rude if I didn't tell you a little about my literary feast. So, here is the thing: is it just me or does anyone else find that adulthood offers no refuge from the unexpected horrors, peculiar lack of physical coordination and sometimes unexplained nudity, that accompanied childhood and adolescence? I am proud to say I have a wealth of awkward experiences - from school days to life as an office temp - and here I offer my 18-year-old self (and I hope you, too, dear listener) some much needed caution and guidance on how to navigate life's rocky path.

Story
As far back as he can remember James Corden has only ever wanted to be in one place: in front of you, doing something to make you laugh, cry, shout, or giggle uncontrollably. At the age of 4, he grandstanded throughout his baby sister’s christening, standing on a chair in front of the whole congregation, pulling faces and cracking everyone up. Despite himself, the vicar was impressed. And from then on he couldn’t get enough of the spotlight, even when it always seemed to avoid him. Throughout his teens, he and his Dad trudged up and down towards London....

Publisher's Summary
Penguin presents the unabridged, downloadable, audiobook addition of According to Yes, the hilarious new novel by Dawn French.
The Foreign Land of the Very Wealthy - otherwise known as Manhattan's Upper East Side - has its own rigid code of behaviour. It's a code strictly adhered to by the Wilder-Bingham family. Emotional displays - unacceptable. Unruly behaviour - definitely not welcome. Fun - no thanks. This is Glenn Wilder-Bingham's kingdom. A beautifully displayed, impeccably edited fortress of restraint.
So when Rosie Kitto, an eccentric 38-year-old primary school teacher from England, bounces into their lives with a secret sorrow and a heart as big as the city, nobody realises that she hasn't read the rule book. For the Wilder-Bingham family, whose lives begin to unravel thread by thread, the consequences are explosive. Because after a lifetime of saying no, what happens when everyone starts saying...yes?

Found this story hard to get into but stuck it out. Wasn't thrilled about the ending & overall, quite boring. Also, couldn't relate to characters.

Disappointing, 50 Shades of Woman's Realm
I’m a big Dawn French fan, bought this immediately after listening to Locked Together. However, incredibly disappointing, tried to finishes however the veiled parenting/relationship/gardening tips & predictable sexual romps made it impossible.

Disappointing
I am a Dawn French fan, but this book is full, predictable and after 4 hours I gave up, sonething I rarely do. The voices were very annoying and jarring and the characters not very likeable. My advice is give this one away.

Fantastic story of life lessons of letting go
Loved this book, the story, the characters and all the actors. Had me laughing out loud, cringing, wincing and yes plain nodding along. Yeah for Rosie, yay for living life!
