On July 19, 2001, Jeffrey Archer is sentenced to four years in prison for perjury. He serves the first three weeks of his sentence in a high-prison that houses some of Britain's most violent criminals. Archer contemplates suicide; he is allowed out and followed by 100 reporters on the day of his mother's funeral; he's moved to the Lifer's wing because of the security; and he becomes a trusted confidant for fellow convicts. Publisher's Summary
He should never have opened the envelope....
Adam Scott listens to the reading of his father's will, aware that the contents can only be meagre. The Colonel, after all, had nothing to leave - except a letter he had never opened himself, a letter that can only bring further disgrace to the family name. Against his mother's advice, Adam opens the letter, and immediately realizes his life can never be the same again. The contents leave him with no choice but to follow a course his father would have described as a matter of honour.

Quality of audiobook
The story was great. A bit slow to start off and only got interesting until about halfway. My only beef of this audiobook is that the end of each chapter is cut off by about 3 seconds ie the chapter is not completed. :( :(

Repetitive
The characters are great but the story drags on to final unclear finish. A bit editing would help immensely.
