Publisher's Summary

Winner of the Romantic Novelists' Association.

Contemporary Romantic Novel Award, 2015.

As heart wrenching and life-affirming as One Day or Me Before You, A Hundred Pieces of Me is a story about what it means to finally live life to the full.

Letters from the only man she's ever truly loved. A keepsake of the father she never really knew. A blue glass vase that catches the light on a grey day.

Gina Bellamy is starting again, after a few years she'd rather forget. But the belongings she's treasured for so long don't seem to fit who she is now. So Gina makes a resolution. She'll keep just a hundred special items - the rest can go. But that means coming to terms with her past and learning to embrace the future, whatever it might bring....

DOG LOVERS DELIGHT

I loved this story of renewal and the resilience of the human spirit. Most people would be able to relate to the story on some level.

Well written, with great narrator

Really enjoyed this book. Seem to listen to it in a flash despite it seeming quite lengthy. Well paced, no boring bits. Well written as well. Will listen to her other books.

Not as good as Lucy Dillon's other books

I have really enjoyed this author's other stories but I felt that this book took a long time to get anywhere and then, when it finally did, it ended.
I also felt that the narrator's voice was too old for the main character that she was portraying and this spoiled the book for me.
Sadly, I was disappointed with this book.

Decluttering and living in the moment.

This story is interesting and well written; the. characters are well delineated and totally believable.

Juanita McMahon's narration and performances are brilliant! She manages to create the different voices for the various characters perfectly.

I enjoyed this story, but, on a personal level, I found the references to cancer and funerals rather distressing.

The moral of this story is to live in the present and not to brood on past events, over which you have no control. Just live one day at a time.

This book would appeal mainly to women and to those who like romantic novels and dogs.

Enjoyable thought provoking read !!

A great narrative and structure which brings up a lot of questions about the "stuff" that clutters our lives and the meaning we attach to it. Voiceover was good but possibly sounded a bit "mature" for the majority of the characters. Was not distracting though.

What's not to love?
Very easy voice to listen to. Thanks narrator!
Great story...thanks author! It's not even as predictable as I thought... I thought it would end in a particular way but I was surprised.
This was my first story from this author, but I am ready for story number two. ☆★☆★☆

good book

I really liked the story line to this book. always like this author. But I again made the mistake of giving the narrator a chance. I feel that though her voice is good, it is more msture sounding and i cannot understand why she is picked to read voices that are meant to be young sounding.

Nice story

I enjoyed this book, took me a while to get started, I struggled with the narrator, I felt the voice was too old for the main character. They didn’t match, if I wasn’t so interested in the story I probably would have given up. I was very engaged after the greyhound entered the story, having a rescue grey myself, I had to stay and see what the dog’s outcome was.

Inspiring

Such an elegant journey through life. A well told story of real life as it is what we make it.
