If you don't recognize a charge, consider the following common scenarios:
  • An order placed by another person (for example, a child, spouse, friend, relative)with access to your card number.
  • A purchase is made by a person using another credit or debit card linked to youraccount.
  • Previously placed orders for pre-order items.
  • Recently cancelled or changed orders. Some banks show authorizations as chargesor pending charges.
If the charge is not explained by any of these situations, please contact us by phoneor chat and have the following information available:
  • Last 4 digits of any cards associated with the account showing the charge (don'tsend this by e-mail).
  • Date of charge.
  • Amount of charge.
  • The 9-digit code found on the Audible charge. E.g.: MB3TM39P00
  • Your name, e-mail address, and phone number.

The $1.00 charge is a digital service charge that will not be deducted from your account. A digital service charge ensures that your credit card is valid. It occurs if you enroll in a free trial or change your membership/billing date.

Before you go, we recommend you use any remaining credits you may have. After you cancel, remaining credits on your account will expire at the end of your final billing period. You’ll also lose access to your member benefits, including all Plus Catalogue content and member-exclusive sales.
Need time to use your credits? You can place your monthly Audible membership plan on hold for up to 3 months to catch up on unused credits or simply take a break. During this time, you will not be billed your monthly membership fee.

  • Credits received from a membership started on the Audible website will be canceled upon membership cancellation.
  • Extra credits purchased on the Audible website will be canceled upon membership cancellation.
  • Credits received from an Audible Google Play membership or an Audible iOS app membership are not subject to Audible's rollover limit and will remain in your account after cancellation.
  • Extra credits purchased in the Audible Google Play app or the Audible iOS app are not subject to Audible's rollover limit and will remain in your account after cancellation.
